November 23rd 1914

23rd November 1914   Monday

Battalion on parade today. Reorganising – draft of yesterday posted to various companies, our strength now about 700 all ranks – From now on we were kept employed at various items of trench warfare. In the interval carried on my duties of cycle orderly. Still feeling the effects of shell shock – some days worse than others. My worst trouble being violent headaches. Have been to see the medical officer each day since we have been in rest but receive little or no treatment. Feel I’m getting worse if anything .
