Started off from overnight billet at 6 am. Got to Fisme railhead about 9 am. Marched onto platform, issued with rations here , also cigarettes – Had to wait some time for the train arrangements being put in order, so did a bit of scouting. Succeeded in getting some bread -after a struggle – sent a French kiddie off for two loaves. Got water bottle filled with white wine before I got back to railhead. Entrained about 11 am. In open trucks- with water carts, Steamed out at 11.30 am. Destination unknown. Passed through LaFete Antiley outskirts of Paris. Boulogne, Calais arrived at Hazebrouke (Flanders)
